Crypto Staking Calculator
Project your token balance and its value from staking rewards, with compounding, platform fees and an optional price assumption.
Quick answer
Staking rewards pay tokens for locking them up. Balance = tokens x (1 + net rate / n)^(n x years), where net rate = quoted rate x (1 - fee) and n is the compounding frequency. Price change affects value only.

Assumptions & method
- With APY entered, the nominal rate is n × ((1 + APY)^(1/n) − 1) for n compounding periods a year; with no compounding the APY is used as a simple rate.
- Net rate = nominal rate × (1 − fee %). The fee comes out of the rewards only.
- Balance = tokens × (1 + net rate ÷ n)^(n × years). With no compounding: tokens × (1 + net rate × years).
- Token price at time t = today's price × (1 + total change)^(t ÷ years), so the assumed change builds up evenly in compound terms.
- Net effective APY = (1 + net rate ÷ n)^n − 1 (or the net rate if there is no compounding).
- Rate, fee and compounding are held constant. Not included: slashing, lock-ups, unbonding, tax, gas costs and changes in network yield.
- Educational only; this is not trading or investment advice.

How staking rewards add up
Staking pays you new tokens for locking up tokens to help secure a network. The yearly rate is quoted as APR, which ignores compounding, or APY, which includes it. If rewards are added to your stake at regular intervals they earn rewards too, so the balance grows faster than a simple percentage. A platform or validator fee takes a share of the rewards. The result is a token balance, and its money value then depends on the token price, which is why this calculator lets you test a price change separately from the yield.
